Recently, an electrician came out from a small, independent company and the work done seemed quick and insufficient. I called Berkeys to check and correct the issues, stating up front that I wanted an electrician with lots of experience with aluminum wiring (because it needs some extra TLC) who could give me peace of mind at the end of the day. William came out and corrected the issues in my switches while fixing up a few things that I wasn't aware of, and seemed happy to explain all the bits and pieces and let me be a part of the process so I could feel content about the end result. And the price was right. The only thing I wish Berkeys did differently was give a more narrow time window for service calls, instead of anywhere between 8-5pm. ~ Lindsay B

Our ceiling fan/light combo has gone out of order, and Berkeys was a top recommendation when we searched online for electrical repair. The process to make an appointment was quick, and the lady on the phone was upfront about the cost to send out an electrician. Nick was professional and pleasant, and he inspected the issue quickly. He also performed tests to identify the cause of our electrical problem, with follow up on our options regarding repair/replacement. We've also received email to confirm the service performed, as well as quotes for possible resolutions going forward. We are very glad to have reached out to Berkeys, and once we've decided on a new ceiling fan, we'd definitely make another appointment for the subsequent installation. ~ George T

We usually have been using Plumbing and AC Services for almost a decade with Berkeys company and have always been satisfied. There have been few instances of using Electricians from them since The need had not arised as much. Today, We used Electrician from Berkeys whom exceeded our Expectations with Professionalism, Through trouble shooting the situations and analyzing the issues with fair Price estimate without trying to sell anything more. I think Integrity and Honesty along with expert knowledge of Technicians have been distinguished Characteristics of Berkeys company and that is the reason that we have chosen them for this long. As a local residential realtor AND homeowner who's been patroning Berkeys for any and all of my personal heating, air, and electrical needs for several years, as well as urging as many of my buyer clients to do the same, I cannot say enough how much I love this company! Jacob McNabb from Berkeys was out today because both of my HVACs stopped working two days after the annual spring checkup. When I explained the previous tech had flushed the drain lines, Jacob new exactly what the problem was. The collection pans that collect water from condensation from the AC units are routed to the sink drain in one of my bathrooms downstairs, and when the tech that did the tuneup, flushed the lines before, some of the gunk in the line from the previous AC units (these new HVAC units were installed a year ago) got trapped in the line connecting to the bathroom drain. He rebuilt the connection to the drain pipe under the sink to make it more efficient and made sure all the drains were clear. This guy, in my opinion, is one of the best at Berkeys. I had to purchase two ac units after another company scammed me. Everyone at Berkey’s has been a complete pleasure to work with. Super professional and excellent all around. Courtney came out the same day I called to diagnose the system and discuss replacement options. He was detailed with out a high pressure approach. He came on Friday and scheduled the replacement for the next day. He came back later to make sure everything was done properly. Guillermo and Edwin came with their crew to install the new systems. They were on time, professional and courteous. Jacob came to do the after installation inspection and took it upon himself to dig out the rocks around the unit and replace it with dirt because it didn’t look good. I wouldn’t have noticed. It has been a few years now since Berkeys installed my system and the system is going strong and I have no regrets. But more importantly, I am still happy with my purchase and would certainly have another system installed by them when that time comes.The quality of the HVAC vendor is one thing but more crucial in my mind is the support and expertise of the service installer from the quality installation through the subsequent years of servicing the system to ensure things are humming. Kudos to Berkeys and to all the techs that have come over and take the time to listen and explain things. It’s the little things that continue to matter and differentiate one company from another. What a great job he showed me pictures of all Of my HVAC. He’s a veteran and thank him for His service and I’m a veteran we hit it off really great each step. He showed me what he was doing and why he was doing it and it made me think that he was doing this like he does every stop. He took care of the system just like he would take care of his own system. I want you to really pat him on the back for doing a great job. I know you can’t always promise him to service my unit, but I’d sure like it to happen. The service I received shows that he cares about his job his customers in the unit he’s servicing. Thanks for your product and your service. 🤔I'm skeptical about using businesses advertised on television, but I could not ignore the excellent comments from several friends about Berkeys. So I decided to try them when the electricity went out in parts of my home. Berkeys responded immediately to my request for service, sending Tech Luis Herrera. 😁Berkeys Tech was professional, experienced, and patient. He assessed the electrical problem in my home, finding several receptacles in an inoperable, unsafe condition and needing to install new ones. What I also liked about Berkeys’ service is their Tech patiently explained the repairs he made as he worked and I was reasonably charged by the job and not by the hour—which gave me peace of mind in not having to watch the clock as the Tech worked. I am a satisfied customer, and Berkeys is my first choice for future services! ~ THEA T

The Berkeys plumber Jacob Cox and crew did a great job installing our replacement water heaters, including replacement of single expansion tank with two tanks attached to studs, replacing vent stacks, and re-connecting the existing Flow-Tech descaler and hot water recirulating pump. We just had a visit from Berkey's for a routine inspection and water heater maintenance. The plumber Eric Brunken was a great fellow and very professional, and he also fixed a problem we'd had with slow drains in a pair of sinks in our bathroom that I wasn't sure how to clear. He went down through the vent pipe from our attic and reconnected the vent pipe, great work and very nice to get this done without scheduling a separate visit. ~ Matthew B

Your slogan… “We’re there when you need us”, 1000%! I needed a plumber ASAP and tried to get another company that my friend recommended to come out. They said they were booked solid and could not get anyone to come out until next month. I called you guys, and someone was scheduled to come out today. Within a few hours I was notified that a tech was on the way. Even provided a picture of the tech that was coming, which I thought was an extra nice touch… My tech was Theodis, and let me just say, this man needs a raise. He was very kind and professional. Got right to work and cleaned up after himself. He let me ask all the questions and hover because I was genuinely curious of how he was going to remedy the issue. I will definitely recommend. Chris was very professional and personable. He explained in detail about the current A/C system (which is over 20 years old) and working very hard to maintain coolness in the house. He prepared a proposal with some options and explained each of the options, how long it would take to install the system, and what we could expect from the new unit. I was very pleased with the information provided. 10-9-2024 Jacob is and has continued to be very professional. He has been educating myself and daughter on how air conditioners actually work besides keeping me cool. He takes the time to explain the mechanic of what is or is not happening with the ac. We have two heat pump u it's in our house ,American Standard. And Berkeys put them in. We have had duct work and new thermostats as well. When problems occur, as the do these days with all the digital and bells and whistles, Berkeys is here ASAP and get us fixed right up. Our relationship has been professional yet treated like family. We also had new fluffy white insulation added to our attic, they do that too. Berkeys wants their clients to be satisfied and their representatives go above and beyond to get the job done. Having a contract for two checkups and cleanings each year for heat and for air conditioning is good to have too. It also enables you to not have a service call charge if problems arise. This is A “At-A-Boy Shout Out for JayDunbar I called Berkeys at 8:15 am this morning with the problem of no heat, furnace not working. They told me they would try to work me in probably near the end of the day. They scrambled to not only get someone out here today but he was here at 1:00pm. Mr Jay Dunbar showed up and we briefly talked about what was going on with the furnace. He got in the attic and went to work and came down about 30 minutes later and gave me the news that I suspected, replace it!!!!!!! Jay was very professional and he presented himself as very confident in what he was explaining to me as to what was wrong with my furnace. He had pictures and videos to show me what the problems were. Great employee, Keep him. ~ Charlie H

I cannot say enough to praise and thank Josh for all he worked on at my house today. He was by far the best plumber have ever used. Berkey’s replaced our two hot water heaters and a connection between them a few years ago. Since then have never had hot water throughout the day and often was only barely warm. Of course had complained and had them repeatedly recheck the system. Was always told all was working as it should. Josh checked the system and found a switch which was not turned on and so have only been getting hot water through one of the two tanks. I cannot thank him enough. Josh’s communication skills are wonderful and he is a superb plumber. He solved my years of barely warm water issues and he fixed a sink, toilet handle and shower head. After finding the issue with my old HVAC unit, which was hard to do, the rest of the process was fairly easy. A sales agent presented options that fit my home. I applied for financing, was approved, and the install was scheduled. On installation day a team arrived and began work immediately. They worked more than 8 hours to get things perfect. They took pictures, instructed me about the new unit and thermostat and made sure everything was clean, all debris was removed, and there were no problems. They checked on me afterwards, made a final inspection to make sure there were no flaws- there were not. I had a warm home just in time for the frigid weather! If you have to make this large investment, you will do yourself a favor if you choose this reputable, friendly, and professional company. I’m a big Berkeys fan! ~ Karen F

A month ago, I called Berkeys for an emergency leak and line break in the kitchen sink at one of my homes. And Josue did a full assessment on my 1970s townhouse and got it up to code while there. A month later, I had confidence in Berkeys techs work, I submitted a request on my other townhome, for what I though was a main water break into the home and Derrick came to assess and determined it wasn't a leak, phew! Not only he ensured everything was flowing fine into the home but explained to my son how to turn off the city main (a slight quarter turn - not a 90, 180 degree turn!) In any case, the city may have assessed the leak on the wrong townhome but I feel reassurred and that Berkeys will come back out if we experience further issues and provide options to resolve. These techs really do care! ~ Asan M

UPDATE 2: Mark just came out for annual HVAC maintenance. I’m happy to report that he more than lived up to the strong reputation Berkey’s has. I’m even more pleased I’ve chosen to go with Berkey’s for all of my HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical needs. UPDATE: I needed Berkeys to come back (my fault not theirs) and was lucky enough to get Mark again. I was so impressed with his knowledge and customer service skills that I signed up for a Berkey’s Annual Plan for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. I wish I could give SIX starts (or TEN!). Mark from Berkeys did a fantastic job. He almost immediately diagnosed the problem, told me what it would cost to fix and completed everything quickly. He also took the time to explain the issue to me in language I understood. I’d definitely recommend Berkeys and Mark. ~ Alan D

I called yesterday to request a quote of replacement 50 gal gas tank water heater. Clayton came this morning and provided quote which was the special advertised online for $1975, they did not try to upsell unnecessary add-ons which we appreciated. They said they could have it installed same day. Install was completely done by 5pm same day, Steven answered my many questions. Everything went smooth and the whole team was professional. I did ask for a quote to add on a hot water recirculation system but it was going to cost an extra $1500 so we declined and decided to live without or self install later. Can buy those at hardware stores for under $300 so I felt their mark up was too high considering it should not have added much time to the job since whole system was being replaced anyway. Overall we had a great experience and will keep calling Berkeys for future plumbing needs! ~ Erica E

I had water leakage from the pipes and garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. I called Berkeys plumbing and they immediately gave me an appointment the Same day.They sent a plumber Keon Koontz ,he assessed the damage and explained the problem in detail to me.He told me what the cost would be and gave me options .In less than 2 hours, he installed anew garbage disposal and new pipes. He did an excellent job, very knowledgeable, and a respectful young man. I was so stressed about the leakage .Thank you Betkeys plumbing for your quick response and for employing excellent Technicians. This is my 4th experience with Berkeys and I am very happy with them. My house is 41 years old. Lonnie checked the issue and found the sewer line to be clogged. He explained everything that would need to be done. He was professional and concerned since this happened the Sunday before Thanksgiving. He made sure to get the digging scheduled for Monday & the repairs scheduled for Tuesday so My Thanksgiving would go smoothly. Sean & Oden installed the new sewer lines & 3 cleanouts. (2 at the house & 1 out by the curb for city use.) He scheduled the city inspection for Wednesday & they were able to get here even though the next day was Thanksgiving. Then the diggers came back on Wednesday to fill in the hole. All the Berkeys people I have met are professional, helpful, nice, respectful and patient. I highly recommend Berkeys. So thrilled by best friend recommended Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing and Electrical after I moved into my new home. I enrolled in their MVP Membership which is under $20 per month. Today was my first A/C maintenance inspection/tune-up. They alert you via text when the Technician is enroute with a 30-45 minute minimum window. My Technician was Jay. Jay was very professional and personable. He let me know what he would be doing, answered questions and pointed out any issue that needed to be addressed. I'm so pleased, I recommended Berkeys to my family and friends today. The experience on a scale of 1-5, a 5! Looking forward to my appointment for HVAC in the Fall. ~ Ruby P

We cannot say enough great things about Walter Rivera. He is an outstanding plumber with over 27 years of experience. He installed new upgraded flushing handles that we had purchased from Pro-Flo for our pressure assist toilets. He then suggested (without pressuring us at all) that we switch out the plastic builder grade emergency water shutoff valves and risers for metal ones. We decided to take his advice, and he came back the following week and installed them on four toilets. We now have peace of mind regarding the water shut-off valves at each toilet. He even took us out to the front yard to give us a quick refresher course on where the shut-off water valve to the house is located and how to turn the valve off. We definitely appreciated the reminder! Walter truly gave us great service with a smile. We will ask for him by name for all of our future plumbing needs. ~ Karen M
